The Silver Lining
Fall is coming to a close and winter in the city is fast approaching, with the bare trees and frigid low temperatures to prove it. I'm glad the semester is coming to a close as well, though the time has flown by. I swear I was just in Africa -- where did the months go? One of the best silver linings of the cold is the need for layers, including an amazing new silver-grey jacket. I plan to hibernate in my room until winter break when I head back to the warmth of home, but in the meantime when I do need to face the chill, I'll be bundled up to the nines. Hello scarves, gloves, hats, and thermal tights, I can't say I missed you, but I sure am glad you've got my back through this struggle.
(I wore a fur collared light grey Club Monaco coat, pale peach tank from Zara, JCrew white corduroys, Target black lace-up wedges, a peach jeweled necklace from Forever New, and carried a pale pink cross body purse from Forever 21.)
