NYC: Sugar & Plumm
One of the absolute best dessert places in the city is Sugar & Plumm, with its cute purple logo and sweetest treats! Of course, I go there because they have my favorite macarons, including a violet cassis creation and soft gooey chocolate and tart raspberry, but they also sell various chocolates, cookies, milkshakes, and other sugary goodness. There are locations uptown and in the West Village, and though I haven't been, the one uptown has a cafe that sounds very yummy. Definitely worth a stop while you're in the city!
