Three Cheers: Part I
So it's officially fall but I'm a little taken aback by the whole idea... I'm still in a summertime mentality. I went outside last night in shorts and a t-shirt thinking that was normal and lo-and-behold I was way too chilly and the people at Chipotle gave me a funny look as I bounced around trying to warm myself up. In my resistance against the chill I've gotten really into cropped sweaters, especially this awesome white one that I got on sale for like 60% off at Club Monaco. The crop keeps you looking and feeling cool, but they still keep you warm enough with the sleeves and knit material. In fact, I'm so into this sweater that I'm going to style it several ways over the next week, from comfy casual to wear-to-work to dressed up for a date night or fancy dinner with friends.
It was a lot of fun shooting for these as well because I got to spend the day with Carter Fish and Kate Mcreynolds -- two girls I've met through social media who are equally interested in fashion and photography and are so sweet and friendly. They both just moved to the city and I loved showing them around, taking them to brunch at Jack's Wife Freda, wandering through Soho and the Village... You have to appreciate the value of social media for bringing people together -- it's such a great way to connect!
(I wore a white Club Monaco cropped sweater, faux fur beige vest by Jack for Dillard's, AG Denim dark wash jeans, black Chelsea Crew ankle booties, a vintage brown belt, and a grey felt Hat Attack Club Monaco hat.)
Thanks Carter for the photos! Check out: Carter Fish Photography
