Not So Secret Garden

I've been trying to venture around the city more and explore new places. As someone suggested: looking at the city as if I am a tourist. I'd been wanting to visit Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and it did not disappoint. At the height of springtime it was bursting with flowers and greenery and pollen (as my allergies were sure to remind me, causing me to sneeze every ten minutes). We saw arches and walkways of my favorite flowers, wisteria; a huge field of bluebells that felt like a fairie wonderland; and rows upon rows of cherry blossoms that would turn the air white with petals every time the wind blew. It was absolutely beautiful, a great transition into summer.

Thanks Carter for the photos!
