Prints Charming
After graduating, the next logical thing to do was to come home to Florida for awhile and take a much needed break from everything. It's always wonderful to be home in the sunshine, where most days feel like summer and summer days are so sweltering you barely want to leave your air-conditioned house. But this past weekend I did spend some time outside, mostly at the beach trying to get some semblance of a tan (I tend to burn, not tan) and enjoying some of our local spots like Fisherman's Village, a cute and colorful collection of shops and restaurants right on the water in my hometown. A few scoops of "Gator Tracks" ice cream helped me cool down, although it also melted all over my hand almost immediately... Yes, being home is nice, but it always just makes me more ready to get back to the big city.
