Color Your World
Anyone who follows me is well aware I love bright colors. I think it’s in large part because I grew up in an eternal summer. Very rarely did I need to transition my wardrobe while living in Florida, if ever. The only time I needed gloves was when I rode horses or traveled somewhere colder. So I have a hard time giving up those fun colors for the fall and winter. That’s why I love when I find a piece I could conceivably wear all year ‘round.
A dress like this raspberry number is colorful and light enough to wear in the spring and summer yet the darker tones and the long sleeves make it conceivable for fall and winter. Paired with some tall boots and a long coat, it would still look just as chic.
And hey, you may not be the kind of person who gravitates towards bright colors. Maybe you prefer a simple neutral ensemble or the ever-popular all black. But one way to mix it up a bit and play around with color is through your accessories. Whether it’s a pop of a colorful earring or a brightly colored handbag, it gives you that fun statement without the commitment of an over the top outfit.
