Red Velvet

Velvet is the fabric of the season and it's made extra festive in shades of dark burgundy red. I'm glad to be home in Florida, for sure, and I'm so looking forward to enjoying the holiday. It just happens to be so warm that it barely feels like Christmas, but I'm trying to get into the spirit. And what really matters is that I made it through my hectic semester with only a few bumps and bruises to show for it -- not too shabby, if you ask me.

(I wore a white pencil skirt from Express, a black and burgundy velvet patterned bodysuit from Bebe, a burgundy velvet Ferragamo blazer, burgundy damask velvet loafers that I bought in Venice, Italy, a V-shaped necklace from Forever 21, and red crystal earrings from Givenchy.)
