Dressed up in Pink and Gold
It's almost the New Year and I could not be more relieved! In looking for festive outfits, I stumbled upon this amazing pink jacquard skirt and ordered it immediately. It can easily be dressed up for a dressy look and it's my favorite color, so it seems like the perfect ensemble to ring in the New Year, or at least to enjoy sporting around the holidays. Holidays in Florida require a bit of creativity to keep that heavy aesthetic of winter clothes without entirely melting through all of your clothes. A great way to do it is by mixing heavy fabrics (like jacquard) with more flowy pieces, especially in holiday tones like gold, to keep the feeling of winter without the overbearing weight of winter clothing. This outfit could easily transition, though, for a colder climate by pairing the skirt over a cute sweater or layering a big faux fur jacket over top.
